Huawei's first overseas factory to be completed in France, is expected to start production by the end of 2025

According to media reports on December 10, Zhang Minggang, deputy general manager of Huawei's French branch, revealed that Huawei's first overseas factory has been confirmed to land in France, covering an area of about 8 hectares, and is expected to be put into production by the end of 2025.。Huawei is reportedly expected to invest 200 million euros (1 euro is about 7.72 yuan - this net note), the annual output value of up to 1 billion euros, the rate of return is quite high, and will create 800 jobs, of which 300 in the near future, 500 in the long term.。The factory is expected to produce 1 billion units per year, but not smartphones, but the chipsets, motherboards and other components needed for 4G and 5G base stations, which can supply the entire European market.。Huawei entered France in 2003 and currently has six R & D centers and one global design center in Paris.。Huawei announced in 2019 that it would set up a plant in France, originally planned to start production in early 2023, but due to various reasons such as environmental protection, it has been delayed for a long time.。
