BNB Chain releases its 2024 annual report: BSC TVL increased by 58.2% to US$5.5 billion, and opBNB daily active users reached 4.7 million
According to online reports, BNB Chain released its 2024 annual report, which includes the latest developments and data on ecology and technology. The report shows that in 2024, BNB Chain will continue to promote One BNB's multi-chain development strategy, namely BSC+opBNB+Greenfield. opBNB will achieve breakthrough expansion capabilities of 4600 TPSs per second and 100 million Gas Limit per second, and introduce parallel EVMs; Storage chain Greenfield launched important updates such as Hulunbeier, Ural and Pawnee, and launched Greendrive. Currently, it supports more than 30 public datasets and improves the user interface. In terms of ecology, opBNB's average daily active users reached 4.7 million, BSC reached 1.12 million, and the number of independent BSC addresses increased by 17.7% compared with last year to 486 million. Total locked positions (TVL) increased 58.2% from the previous year to US$5.5 billion, and opBNB's TVL increased 27.6% to US$19.2 million. In terms of transaction volume, BSC has an average of 4 million transactions per day, an increase of 2.5%;opBNB has an average of 7.1 million transactions per day, with fees as low as US$0.001. In terms of security, the number of security incidents occurred in BNBChain decreased by 66% compared with last year, and the amount of risk losses decreased by 67%(from US$162 million to US$53 million).
