On April 6, it was announced that ClearBank reached a regional partnership with cryptocurrency trading platform Kraken, which will provide sterling clearing services to Kraken's UK customers and realize a gold deposit channel for the digital trading ecosystem. Both parties plan to launch regional clearing services in early 2025. Previously, Kraken's legal entity Payward Services has obtained a British Electronic Money Institution (EMI) license and ClearBank will become its main UK banking partner.
