Trader Eugene: Recently long SOL losses, failure to decisively stop losses and excessive additional positions are the key mistakes leading to losses

According to online reports, trader Eugene Ng Ah Sio shared a summary of recent transactions, revealing his significant losses while being long in SOL. Eugene turned to multiple orders in SOL and its ecosystem after BTC became profitable, originally setting a medium risk-return ratio. However, SOL prices failed to rise as expected, and Eugene did not stop losses in time and increased its position when SOL fell to US$200, eventually resulting in a loss of US$6.2 million, which was about 10.2% of the total account. He reflected that failure to decisively stop losses and excessive additional positions were the key mistakes that led to losses. Fortunately, in the end, he successfully made up for his losses through a series of profit-making transactions and summed up the importance of avoiding sunk cost thinking.
