On November 7, bitcoin mining company Hut8 predicted that after agreeing to purchase 31,145 Bitmain Antminers S21+ mining machines, its self-mining power will increase by 66% around the first quarter of 2025 (from 5.6 EH/s to 9.3 EH/s). These mining machines are scheduled to be delivered in the early first quarter of 2025. Hut8 announced in September that it had reached a purchase agreement with Bitmain, which will increase the company's computing power by approximately 15 EH/s. If this option is selected, the company's computing power may increase further, advancing the process of reaching 24 EH/s "as early as the second quarter of 2025."
