Recently, PricewaterhouseCoopers, which has been frequently dismissed by listed companies, can be said to have temporarily "breathed a sigh of relief".
On July 5, Alibaba released an announcement showing that the company will renew its contract with PricewaterhouseCoopers as its auditor for the 2025 fiscal year.
So how much will Alibaba pay for the audit?
Although not mentioned in the above announcement, but according to the division's annual report for fiscal year 2024 disclosed in May of this year Alibaba paid a total of 165 million yuan to PwC for fiscal year 2024.
Alibaba and PwC have a deep history, and the two sides have been cooperating for 24 years. According to Alibaba's annual report for fiscal year 2022, in 1999, Alibaba began to employ PricewaterhouseCoopers (that is, Hong Kong's PricewaterhouseCoopers)
