Fox reporter: US SEC plans to try to reach a settlement with crypto companies rather than directly rejecting it

According to online reports, Fox Business reporter Eleanor Terrett posted on the X platform that legal people he spoke with believed that the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission was trying to reach a settlement by crypto companies rather than directly rejecting the lawsuit, in order to "prove" spending millions of taxpayers 'money is reasonable and saves some face. In addition, two SEC commissioners, Hester Peirce and Mark Uyeda, did inform Coinbase that they were sorry for the inconvenience, which was a real blow to the SEC's enforcement system under Gensler and Biden.
