US SEC promotes XRP, Litecoin, and Solana ETF applications "
The Internet reported that the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) updated the applications of multiple cryptocurrency exchange-traded funds (ETFs) on February 6, marking that regulators are gradually advancing the approval process for cryptocurrency ETFs. Key developments include: Grayscale's Solana and Litecoin ETF applications have received formal acknowledgement from the SEC. BlackRock submitted a proposal to allow physical creation and redemption of the iShares Bitcoin ETF. Cboe filed multiple 19b-4 filings to list and trade in XRP ETFs issued by Bitwise, 21Shares, Canary Capital and WisdomTree. This move is seen as an important signal that the SEC is gradually accepting cryptocurrencies as mainstream financial assets in the context of the new administration's more cryptocurrency-friendly policies. Analysts believe that the progress of Litecoin, Solana and XRP's ETF applications may pave the way for the approval of more cryptocurrency ETFs.
