Manta Network founder reveals suspected Lazarus used Zoom to launch phishing attacks
Internet reports that Manta Network co-founder KennyLi disclosed a highly complex phishing attack. The attacker used video footage of real team members during Zoom's video call in an attempt to induce them to download malware. Li said that during the video call, the other party's camera was turned on and the facial picture was real, but the sound could not be heard. The system prompted him to update Zoom and download script files, which aroused his vigilance. He believes the attack may have been launched by Lazarus, a North Korean state-backed hacking group. After the attacker was asked to verify his identity through Telegram, he immediately deleted all messages and blocked them.
