US SEC terminates investigation into Gemini and takes no enforcement action
Internet reports that Cameron Winklevoss, co-founder of cryptocurrency exchange Gemini, issued a document saying that the SEC terminated its investigation into Gemini and took no enforcement action. Cameron said: "While this marks another milestone in the end of the cryptocurrency war, which has included the SEC withdrawing its Coinbase lawsuit and ending its investigations into OpenSea, Robinhood and UniSwap, it does not compensate for the damage the agency has caused to us, our industry and the United States. The SEC has cost us tens of millions of dollars in legal fees alone and lost hundreds of millions of dollars in productivity, creativity and innovation."
