On Monday evening, Aug. 13, local time, former U.S. President Donald Trump engaged in a live conversation with Tesla CEO Elon Musk on the X platform.
Musk offered himself a role in helping to cut federal spending during Trump's second term in office. This seems to indicate that the world's richest man, is increasingly integrating himself into American politics.
Musk has called for the creation of a government commission to ensure that taxpayer money is spent effectively, and said he would like to play a role in the process.
Musk said "I'd be happy to help on such a commission if it's formed." Trump praised Musk for the idea.
