Blocksquare and Vera Capital reach a $1 billion U.S. real estate tokenization cooperation agreement
According to online reports, Blocksquare and Vera Capital announced today that they have reached a US$1 billion cooperation agreement to tokenize commercial and multi-family real estate assets across the United States. Vera Capital will leverage Blocksquare's white-label technology to launch a dedicated digital marketplace to provide global investors with tokenized ownership of institutional U.S. properties. The first tokenization project was a $5.4 million commercial property in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, with an annual return of 5%.
