As the Chinese manufacturer of new energy vehicles (NEV) continues to expand its presence in Europe, BYD (HKG: 1211, OTCMKTS: BYDDY) has opened its first dealership in Poland.。

According to a press release yesterday, the store, located in the Polish capital Warsaw, opened on August 6 and is a collaboration between BYD and Cichy-Zasada, Poland's largest car dealership group.。

Executives from BYD and Cichy-Zasada attended the opening ceremony and witnessed the first delivery of the BYD seal to local owners.。

The Chinese NEV maker announced in May that it would phase out Seal, Dolphin and Seal U (known in China as Song Plus EV) in Poland.。

The three models are currently on display on BYD's Polish website。

In addition to the Warsaw store, BYD also plans to open stores in Poznan, Wroclaw, Krakow, Szczecin and other Polish cities to build a sales network covering the whole of Poland.。
