Online reports, according to a report by the Bangkok Post on February 3, Jomkwan Kongsakul, deputy secretary-general of the Securities and Exchange Commission of Thailand, said that token investment is receiving increasing attention and regulators will allow securities companies to trade digital tokens to take advantage of their huge investor base. "The SEC is using technology to increase the efficiency of capital markets by promoting the electronic securities ecosystem," Jomkwan Kongsakul said, adding that "new regulations will be introduced to promote the issuance of electronic securities and the online purchase of bonds," medium-and long-term debt instruments used by large companies to borrow money.
