Pakistan will set up committee to oversee encryption policy
Internet reports that Pakistan said it will establish a National Cryptography Commission to develop legislation in this area after meeting with President Donald Trump's digital asset advisers. The committee will be a dedicated advisory body composed of government representatives, regulatory agencies and industry experts. The report quoted a statement from the Ministry of Finance as adding that the committee will oversee policy development and work with countries to develop standardization frameworks.
