Online reports, encryption journalist Eleanor Terrett disclosed that Anchorage Digital Bank N.A. Designated as an additional custodian for BlackRock funds that support spot crypto ETP and other exposure to crypto assets. As of April 3, 2025, BlackRock is the world's largest issuer of spot crypto ETP, with assets under management of US$50 billion. Through Anchorage, BlackRock now has access to digital asset custody services, pledge services, settlement services and on-chain governance solutions. This is a major strategic move for the company.
