According to online reports, Kristin Smith posted on social platform X, announcing that he will officially step down as CEO of the Blockchain Association on May 16, 2025, and will join Solana on May 19 as president of the Solana Policy Research Institute, leading its policy strategic layout. Smith reviewed the industry advocacy and regulatory dialogue he led during his tenure and said that although he will leave his current position, this is not a farewell to the crypto industry, but a "shift in perspective."
