Online reports that the Aptos community has proposed a New Improvement Proposal (AIP), which plans to reduce the current pledge reward rate of about 7% by 1% monthly within three months, and eventually to about 3.8%. The proposal aims to optimize long-term ecological development, promote more active participation and competition in the DeFi field by reducing pledge revenue, and enhance the sustainability of the APT token economic model. If the proposal is passed, this will be the first major community-led agreement change since Aptos Labs launched its "Global Trading Engine" program. The proposal is currently open to community feedback.
