Great Wall Motor released a note in response to the reasons for being “blacked out” by the Southern Power Grid, which shows that in the bidding in November 2022, the company won the tender for 35 Tank 500 models, and in the vehicle delivery process due to negligence, there was a discrepancy between the deliverables and the subject matter.
After discovering the problem, and after confirming with Southern Power Grid, the company has compensated for the discrepancy and made a public apology to Southern Power Grid.
Previously, the Southern Power Grid Supply Chain Unified Service Platform showed that Great Wall Motors was listed as a supplier of “not accepting bids” by Southern Power Grid for a period of 24 months due to the “major breach of trust by the supplier and its bad influence”.
