Survey: Only 10% of U.S. voters want the Trump administration to increase federal funding for cryptocurrency and blockchain development
The Internet reported that according to a survey by Data for Progress, only 10% of U.S. voters want the Trump administration to increase federal funding for cryptocurrency and blockchain development. In contrast, many people prioritize supporting social protection (65%), medical insurance (64%) and infrastructure (64%). President Trump ordered the creation of a strategic reserve of cryptocurrencies funded by confiscated bitcoins, a move that sparked widespread discussion. Although 51% of voters opposed establishing the reserve, opinions were divided between different parties. The survey also showed that voters are not enthusiastic about the federal government's support for increasing funding for artificial intelligence research, with only 20% supporting an increase. At the same time, programs backed by Democrats, such as public education and health insurance, have received strong support.
