Only 20 Bitcoin Service Providers (BSPs) are active in El Salvador
According to online reports, according to Bitcoin.com News, according to the records of the Central Reserve Bank of El Salvador, only 20 of the country's 181 registered Bitcoin Service Providers (BSPs) are actively operating, accounting for only 11%. These include the official digital wallet Chivo, which will be disbanded under an agreement reached between the government and the International Monetary Fund. Although El Salvador was one of the first countries to open its doors to Bitcoin and cryptocurrency services, local interest in these solutions has been low.
