On February 27, Sun Yuchen announced on social media that he had won the lawsuit against Sina for reputation rights. The Beijing Internet Court ruled that Sun Yuchen won the case on December 31, 2024, and found that Sina's previously published article "Sun Yuchen is suspected of insider trading, the FBI and the US Internal Revenue Service have launched an investigation" and other contents constituted an infringement of reputation rights. Sina issued a public apology statement on February 7, 2025, and chose not to appeal on February 26. It has paid RMB 31338 in compensation.
