Crypto Advocate Scott Melker: Fraudsters Steal At Least $4 Million Using Their Cryptocurrency Celebrity Fake Identity

Internet reports that Scott Melker, a cryptocurrency trader and investor known as "The Wolf of All Streets", said he learned that someone used his face and name to commit fraud, and at least one victim was defrauded of $4 million. On April 23, the cryptocurrency investor said: "I feel very angry." He revealed that a private investigator contacted him and told him that a client had been defrauded of US$4 million by a Nigeria fraud ring using his name and face as bait. "They obviously deceived a lot of people," Melk said, adding: "They also sent him a fake driver's license to prove it was me." They also used his portrait on platform X as a photo. The fraudster used artificial intelligence to generate the fake ID and used a fake email account that looked very lifelike. "They also use Zoom to make video calls and use artificial intelligence to disguise their identities," Melk said."These methods are obviously quite complex." He also mentioned that the scammers even forged the accounts of his wife and children to further confirm their identities.
