Cardano founder livestreams destroying $80 million in $Charles tokens received
Online reports that Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson had a live broadcast about an hour ago destroying all 900 billion unofficial $Charles tokens airdropped into his Lace paper wallet, with a market value of approximately US$80 million. Hoskinson's move was to show that he had no connection with the token. Previously, Charles Hoskinson announced his Lace paper wallet on social media, claiming it was to "show that Lace is safe and that even if I release the QR code address to everyone, it will not be stolen." However, an anonymous developer created the Meme token $Charles and transferred 900 billion pieces to Honskinson's wallet address.
