Mintaak acquires CBDC startup Digiledge for $3.5 million "

According to online reports, Indian financial technology company Mintaak recently acquired Digiledge, a startup focusing on the central bank's digital currency field, for approximately US$3.5 million. This is the first M & A case in India's CBDC field. Mintoak has previously received investment support from PayPal and HDFC Bank. Through this acquisition, Mintoak will integrate Digiledge's CBDC and bill payment expertise to provide a more comprehensive digital rupee payment solution to its partner banks, including HDFC Bank, Axis Bank and State Bank of India.
