Data: Bitcoin mining contributes $4.1 billion in output value and 31,000 jobs to the U.S. economy every year

According to online reports, the latest report released by Perryman Group shows that the Bitcoin mining industry creates more than US$4.1 billion in total output value and 31,000 jobs for the U.S. economy every year. The report pointed out that Texas is the largest beneficiary of Bitcoin mining activities, with an annual economic contribution of US$1.7 billion and creating more than 12,200 jobs. Georgia and New York contributed $316.8 million and $225.9 million respectively to total annual output value. It is reported that the United States currently accounts for about 40% of global Bitcoin computing power.
