US media: US Treasury Secretary nominee Bessent's core agenda is "3\u002F3\u002F3"
According to online reports, the AXIOS website analyzed U.S. Treasury Secretary nominee Scott Bessent's core economic agenda "3/3" policy approach, which is to reduce the budget deficit to 3% of GDP, achieve an annual growth rate of 3%, and increase domestic oil production by 3 million barrels per day. Currently, the U.S. deficit will remain between 6% and 7% of GDP in the next few years, forming a spiral trend, which may bring the risk of a sharp rise in interest rates, so the first agenda will satisfy the "deficit hawks". On the second agenda, the United States has achieved growth of around 3% for a long time in its history, but this goal may conflict with Trump's policy of restricting immigration. On the third agenda, the United States 'oil production is already around 13 million barrels a day, and the market is oversupplied. Energy executives have questioned the geological rationality of further significant increases in production.
