A man in the UK is considering buying a landfill to recover a hard drive containing 8000 BTC

On February 10, the Guardian reported that James Howells, an IT engineer from Newport, England, spent ten years trying to find £ 600 million in Bitcoin wealth he believed was buried in a municipal garbage dump in southern Wales. He is considering purchasing the site to find missing wealth. James Howells lost the case in the British High Court last month, failing to force Newport City Council to allow him to search the garbage dump to retrieve the hard drive he claimed contained 8000 bitcoins.
