Robinhood launches Forecast Markets Hub to support Federal Reserve interest rates and sporting event contract trading

On March 17, according to Robinhood's official announcement, its Robinhood Derivatives, LLC (RHD) today launched the Prediction Markets Hub within the Robinhood App, allowing users to trade forecast contracts such as the May Federal Reserve interest rate cap and the NCAA Basketball Championship. The service is provided through the CFTC regulated KalshiEX exchange, and Robinhood has been in close communication with the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) to ensure compliant operations. Officials said that the forecast market plays an important role in the fields of news, economy, politics and culture, and the new platform will improve market liquidity, transparency and price discovery capabilities. The feature will be available to eligible U.S. users in the next few days.
