Berkshire Q2: Buffett's shareholdings have been adjusted again

In terms of new holdings, Berkshire increased its holdings in aerospace and electronics company Heico Corp. and retail cosmetics chain Ulta Beauty. Among them, the holding of Heico Corp. increased to 1.04 million shares, while the holding of Ulta Beauty increased to 690,000 shares. After the news was announced, Ulta Beauty's stock price rose 12% in after-hours trading, while Heico's stock price rose 2.0%.

In terms of reduction, Berkshire significantly reduced its holdings in Apple, from 789 million shares in the first quarter to 400 million shares. At the same time, the company also reduced its holdings in Chevron from approximately 123 million shares to approximately 119 million shares. Its holdings in building materials retailer Floor & Decor fell from 47.8 million shares to 26.8 million shares, and its holdings in building materials company Louisiana-Pacific fell from about 66 million shares to 59.6 million shares. In addition, Berkshire completely liquidated its holdings in Paramount Global and cloud computing company Snowflake.

In terms of holding increases, Berkshire's holdings in Sirius XM increased from 36.7 million shares to approximately 133 million shares, and its holdings in Occidental Petroleum increased from 248 million shares to 255 million shares. The company also increased its holdings of Liberty Media Corp's Series C and Series A shares, from 65.5 million shares to 70 million shares, and Series A shares from 32.8 million shares to 35.2 million shares. In addition, Berkshire increased its holdings in Chubb Insurance by approximately 4%.
