CFI Financial Group has opened a new office in Dubai, which is regulated by the Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA), in another development following the company's first-class license in the region last year, marking a major step forward in the company's continued expansion in the Middle East and North Africa region.。
Nidal Abdel Hadi, CEO of Dubai CFI, posted on LinkedIn: "I am proud to announce that we have established a new SCA licensing entity in the UAE.。With Category 1 licenses, we will continue to uphold our commitment to provide secure, regulated access to financial markets。This latest move further strengthens our resolve to fight alongside our customers in the UAE。"
CFI's Regulatory Milestones in Dubai
Last year, CFI Financial Group was awarded a Class I licence by SCA, its second licence in Dubai, a significant milestone.。Regulatory wins boost CFI's broader ambitions in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region。CFI reached a sponsorship deal with English professional football club Sheffield United before being granted a licence。
In addition, China International Capital Corporation Limited Group launched the Oman branch of China International Capital Corporation Limited in November, which is the fourth subsidiary of the company launched in 2023.。In addition to traditional market entry, CFI Oman aims to empower Omani traders through advanced technology, professional services and highly competitive trading conditions.。
It follows CFI Group's foray into Egypt, Kuwait and Palestine last year.。CFI's portfolio includes 12 regulatory licenses in the United Arab Emirates, Jordan, Lebanon, Egypt, the United Kingdom, Cyprus and Mauritius.。
Global Expansion of CFI
CFI co-founder and managing director Hisham Mansour said: "CFI's continued expansion reflects our commitment to empower traders and investors globally, and CFI Oman is another strategic milestone in our journey.。Oman has a huge market potential and we hope to provide Omani investors with access to global markets, advanced technology, professional services and very competitive trading conditions through CFI Oman.。"
In addition to geographic expansion, CFI Financial Group is strengthening its leadership。In November, the company promoted Karim Malasto as group chief operating officer and named Loay Azar as MENA chief executive.。Previously, Malas was Group Chief Operating Officer。
CFI Financial also named Louis Bridger as head of business development this year.。Bridger has reportedly had a stellar 17-year career in the financial services industry with experience at IG, ICE, Travelex, Wonga and Betfair.。
