FBS Attends FMAS: 24 - Wants to Develop Integrated App in African Market

With a little over a week to go, some of the biggest brands and brokers are gearing up for the upcoming Financial Magnates Africa Summit (FMAS:24). Among them is FBS, which has become one of the biggest players in the African market.Finance Magnates spoke to Eduard Melkostupov, Head of Education at FBS, to get his thoughts on the event, as well as the company's outlook and strategy in Africa.

Are you excited about FMAS:24 and how do you think your company can directly benefit from participating in an event like this in Africa?

We at FBS are very excited to be participating in this year's FMAS:24. Considering the focus of the summit on the African continent and the fact that it is taking place in South Africa, we are particularly looking forward to engaging with the traders, influencers and key opinion leaders that FMAS is bringing together, and we are eager to contribute to the development of the financial and trading community with our expertise and solutions.

Our sponsorship of FMAS:24 and participation in the Expo is closely aligned with our global mission to support trading enthusiasts and professionals.

FMAS returns to Sandton for the second year. What do you hope to see from this year's event?

Although this is our first time attending FMAS, we hope to have ample opportunity to see insightful agendas, the latest innovations and expert discussions. For our part, the FBS team aims to share our expertise in trading education and financial market analysis, as well as showcase the upgraded FBS app and our flagship IB Partner Program.

Many brokers and brands have ventured into Africa, looking at the heat, size and overall potential of the continent. Is this view in line with your company's goals for 2024 or beyond, and is this excitement justified?

The African continent has huge potential and will see a boom in online trade in the coming years. We have noticed a real increase in trading activity in the region, and in 2024 FBS aims to have our upgraded FBS app in the marketplace. With at least 60% of traders relying exclusively on mobile trading, our all-in-one application should meet the needs of African traders. We are enthusiastic about the growth of FBS in Africa.

FMAS:24 will attract the biggest brands from multiple industries as well as regional and local suppliers. How does your company plan to stand out at this year's show?

FBS is a broker that takes care of all aspects of trading and we do everything possible to allow our clients to focus on trading and not worry about it. At FMAS:24, FBS will be highlighting our solutions to help maintain a productive trading lifestyle - the FBS app, trading education resources and the FBS IB program. We also have an exciting program for visitors and special guests visiting our booth to create an atmosphere of passion for trading.

The retail industry is constantly undergoing radical change and requires different strategies to chart the way forward. Given this uncertainty, how is your company coping with any industry headwinds in 2024?

At FBS, our commitment is not just to be a service provider or trading platform. Our goal is to enhance our clients' trading lifestyles by ensuring that they have convenient and practical tools to trade efficiently. Our FBS app, as well as our other education and analytics programs, reflect this philosophy. In addition, FBS will continue to focus on the security and reliability of traders' funds and personal data by further enhancing the technical protection of our servers.
