Account opening process

To open a personal account as an example, a brief description of the uSMART SG App operating procedures:

1. Quick Registration

After opening uSMART SG App, click the “Account Opening” button on the home page, and then enter the registration page after reconfirmation. You can choose to use a cell phone number or email (each number/email address can only be registered once), and according to the prompts to obtain and enter the verification code, set and confirm the password to complete the initial registration. 2.

2. Fill in basic information

After entering the account opening interface, the system will ask you to select the account type. For individual investors, you need to select “Individual Account” and select “Singapore Citizen/Permanent Resident” or “Other Status” according to your own identity.

If you choose “Singapore Citizen/Permanent Resident”, you can use Myinfo (a personal information service provided by the Singapore government to help you fill in your identity information quickly) to verify your identity, and the information will be retrieved automatically after you log in through Singpass;
