Nairobi Stock Exchange launches Kenya Digital Exchange
According to online reports, Kenya's Nairobi Stock Exchange (NSE) announced that it has partnered with DeFi Technologies, Valour and others to launch Kenya's digital exchange KDX, which serves as Kenya's financial market infrastructure to provide capital market access for tokenization and digital asset trading. It is reported that KDX's revenue model will include transaction fees, withdrawal and deposit fees, listing fees, margin trading and lending, pledge services, IDO, token issuance, custody services, tokenization services, legal currency conversion fees, market-making, revenue services, etc. (Note: The Nairobi Stock Exchange was established in 1954 and is the earliest national exchange established in sub-Saharan regions.)
