Nvidia plans to invest $500 billion in artificial intelligence infrastructure in the United States by 2029
According to online reports, Nvidia plans to invest up to US$500 billion in artificial intelligence infrastructure in the United States in the next four years. The plan includes establishing partnerships with companies such as Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Corporation (TSMC), Foxconn and Quanta Computer. TSMC has begun producing NVIDIA's Blackwell artificial intelligence chips at its plant in Phoenix, Arizona, USA. Foxconn and Quanta are expected to begin operating supercomputer manufacturing plants in Texas within 12 to 15 months. The move is consistent with Nvidia and other technology companies 'commitment to moving production to the United States in response to policies that support local production, with CEO Renxun Wong emphasizing that Made in the United States will help meet growing demand for artificial intelligence and strengthen supply chains.
