Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk posted two days in a row criticizing American college education and the broader social status quo, arguing that it has reduced the ability of American college graduates year after year.。The day before, Musk posted in response to a criticism of American university education by an X user, who said: "America's top universities should abandon their long-standing political adventures, re-examine their core strengths, and rebuild their reputation as centers of research and learning.。Musk responded: "SpaceX and Tesla have noticed a marked decline in the capabilities of American college graduates over the past few years.。"
