Trade.com has become the latest retail forex and Contract for Difference (CFD) broker to launch proprietary trading services, branded as Trade.com Challenges.

Trade.com's proprietary trading platform

With these new services, the broker joins the ranks of similar companies like OANDA, Axi, IC Markets, Hentec Markets, and Traders Trust, which have recently introduced popular proprietary trading services. Several other brokers are also evaluating or preparing to launch similar proprietary trading services.

According to the Trade.com Challenges website, the broker has established Tplus Technologies Limited in Cyprus to specifically provide these newly launched services. This entity is distinct from Trade.com's Cyprus licensed entity, Trade Capital Markets (TCM) Ltd., which operates under the Trade.com brand in the European Union.

Trade.com is also regulated in the UK, UAE, South Africa, Mauritius, and Spain. In 2022, the broker obtained a FINRA license, expanding its operations in the United States. Recently, the brand has launched services in Italy through obtaining local licensing, further strengthening its operations within the EU.

"Our strategy is to offer our own secure, reputable, and fair environment," said Roei Gavish, CEO of Trade.com Group, regarding these new services. "We come from a tightly regulated background to ensure customers are well treated."

Additional services

Trade.com allows access to its proprietary trading platform under the same domain as its regular brokerage platform. However, these services are not available in Japan, Canada, Belgium, and the United States. Regulatory authorities in Belgium have issued warnings about proprietary trading companies.

The website of the proprietary trading platform further emphasizes that trading takes place in a virtual environment, similar to most proprietary trading firms, and provides simulated account trading.

Trade.com Challenges offer funded accounts ranging from $10,000 to $200,000, depending on the challenge purchased, which are priced between $99 and $999. Interestingly, it also offers options to bypass evaluations; however, these accounts are significantly more expensive, ranging from $350 to $5,450.
