COMPUTEX 2024: AI Full Products Upgrade

At the Taipei Computer Show 2024 (COMPUTEX 2024), NVIDIA unveiled the B100/B200 and GB200 AI servers, driving upgrades in industries such as MB/NB, cooling, PCB, semiconductors, and more. Benefitting companies mainly include ASUS, MSI, GIGABYTE, Qisda, Shuttle, ASRock, and TSMC.

A total of 1,500 tech industry participants attended the event, marking a new high in scale, focusing on six major themes: artificial intelligence computing, next-generation communication, future mobility, immersive reality, innovation, and green sustainability.

Major brands, in collaboration with Microsoft, introduced Copilot+PC, featuring the latest Qualcomm X Elite with NPU computing power reaching 45 TOPS. Companies like GIGABYTE and ASUS showcased strong AI server assembly capabilities, with new products like B100/B200 and GB200 expected to launch in the second half of the year, significantly increasing revenue and profit expectations. Stocks of ASUS, MSI, GIGABYTE, and other high-weighted AI PC, AI server, and esports-related companies are anticipated to perform well.

NVIDIA's Blackwell GPU, combined with Grace CPU, has a TDP of up to 1,500 watts, requiring liquid cooling. The company plans to integrate liquid cooling technology into B200/X100/GB200 products, expecting substantial revenue growth for related cooling industries such as Qisda, Shuttle, Shuttle Electric, Hongbai, Qincheng, and Jiaze in 2025.

NVIDIA's GB200 product increases the number of CPUs and GPUs, enlarging the package area by 85%, with a corresponding increase in the hardboard area, benefiting ASRock the most.

In terms of products such as car dashboards, foldable touch notebooks, and mini LED curved screens, related beneficiary manufacturers such as Jia Sidat, GIS-KY, TPK-KY, Rayo, and Yiguang show potential.

NVIDIA's AI accelerators Rubin/Rubin Ultra are expected to launch in 2026/27, using the N4 process. AMD will launch the Ryzen AI 300 series processors with Zen 5 architecture in July, with performance reaching 50 TOPS, which is good news for manufacturers such as TSMC, Wistron, and Yen Wei.
