Trump: '100%' believe trade deal can be reached with EU

Internet reported that it was learned on April 17 local time that Italian Prime Minister Meloni arrived at the White House to meet with US President Trump. Trump administration officials said the two sides are expected to discuss a range of topics during the meeting, including trade, immigration and ending the conflict in Ukraine. In addition, Meloni is expected to put pressure on Trump on trade and tariffs. Officials said Trump "takes this matter very seriously" and the White House is "ready to reach a deal." Trump said he was "100 percent" confident a trade deal with the EU would be reached before the 90-day tariff moratorium ends. (CCTV News)
