Internet reports that according to Yonhap News Agency, court officials revealed on Sunday that the first criminal trial of former South Korean President Yoon Seok Yoon is scheduled to be held next week. Seoul's Central District Court is scheduled to begin hearing Yoon's rebellion charges at 10 a.m. local time (9 a.m. Beijing time) on Monday. As a defendant, Yin Xiyue must attend the trial. Prosecutors will file charges against Yin Xiyue, who is expected to deny it. If convicted of leading the rebellion, Yin Xiyue could face life imprisonment or the death penalty. (Jin Shi)
