Trump's ex-wife calls on US president to "drop lawsuit against Roger Ver"
On March 17, last Sunday, Marla Maples, the second wife of U.S. President Donald Trump, posted a post on social media platform X, calling on Trump and his team to abandon the lawsuit against early Bitcoin investor Roger Ver. Videos about Roger Ver's philanthropic work have been widely circulated on the Internet, including many freedom advocates including "Students for Trump" co-founder Ryan Fournier. Last week, a group of international supporters released a video showing Roger Ver's philanthropic videos, and Trump's ex-wife Marla Maples forwarded Fournier's post to her 61,500 followers on X on Sunday. Maples added: "Share more on the call to drop the indictment against Roger Ver." In the news, she posted the @realDonaldTrump X account of U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi, White House Counsel Dave Warrington, Elon Musk and President Trump. In May last year, Roger Ver was arrested in Spain and charged in the United States with mail fraud, tax evasion and filing false tax returns. Known online as "Bitcoin Jesus", he is the former CEO of digital wallet developer Bitcoin.com.
