Robinhood CEO advocates updating SEC investor rules to promote tokenization

Online reports that Robinhood CEO Vlad Tenev advocated updating the SEC investor rules to promote tokenization. Tenev said,"The United States is finally starting to make up for lost time and take cryptocurrencies seriously. We have made many promising progress. Now is the time to further expand our understanding of possibilities." Tenev believes that the United States has unnecessary restrictions on early private company investment, and regulators should work to change the law and encourage tokenization to achieve a more equitable situation. In particular, the U.S."Qualified Investor" law limits private market investment to investors with net assets of more than $1 million or income of more than $200,000, resulting in a concentration of wealth in the hands of the wealthiest 20%.
