Former Algorand chief scientist Chen Jing has left the United States to join Tsinghua University full-time as a professor
According to online reports, computer scientist and blockchain expert Chen Jing has left the United States and joined Tsinghua University full-time as a professor. Data from the Digital Library of the China Computer Society show that Chen Jing is a professor at the Department of Computer Science at Tsinghua University and a recipient of the National Overseas High-Level Talent Program. Her main research interests are blockchain, smart contracts, computational game theory and mechanism design. She has served as Chief Scientist and Director of Theoretical Research at the blockchain technology company Algorand, Assistant Professor of the Department of Computer Science at the State University of New York at Stony Brook, and received the National Science Foundation Career Achievement Award in 2016. Chen Jing has published many papers at top conferences and top issues of computational theory and economics, and has served as a PC of important international conferences in the fields of computational theory, computational game theory, security, blockchain and other fields for many times.
