DFINITY announces completion of its Solar upgrade

The Internet reported that according to the DFINITY announcement, the Solar upgrade has been officially completed, and ICP's edge infrastructure has been completely decentralized. Previously, Boundary Nodes were operated by the DFINITY Foundation, but under the new architecture, Boundary Nodes are split into API Boundary Nodes and HTTP Gateways, which are responsible for request routing and HTTP request conversion respectively, thereby improving network security and scalability. and degree of decentralization. Currently, ICP has deployed 20 API border nodes to form its public network edge, while DFINITY is still operating multiple HTTP gateways to ensure a smooth system transition. Developers can directly connect to API border nodes through Discovery Library, bypassing the HTTP gateway, and taking full advantage of the new architecture.
