According to Internet reports, according to Immunefi's latest report, in January 2025, the encryption industry lost US$73.9 million due to hacking attacks, involving 19 security incidents, a nine-fold increase from the previous month. However, compared with the loss of US$133 million in January 2024, it was down 44.6%. Among them, Singapore's centralized exchange Phemex was hacked, resulting in a loss of US$69.1 million, and DeFi options platform Moby Trade lost US$2.5 million due to vulnerabilities. In addition, multiple projects such as Orange Finance, UniLend Finance, and The Idols NFT have also been attacked to varying degrees. In terms of chain losses, BNB Chain became the most attacked network, accounting for 50% of the total losses, Ethereum accounted for 25%, Arbitrum and Base each suffered two attacks, and Optimism suffered one attack.
