Former SEC chairman: Cryptocurrency legislation may be introduced during Trump administration
Internet reported that former Securities and Exchange Commission Chairman Jay Clayton said on Wednesday that the U.S. Congress may pass legislation to regulate cryptocurrencies after Trump takes office. Clayton also said he was in favor of relaxing regulatory burdens to encourage companies to go public, which heralded the broad changes in public policy that the industry is currently looking forward to and has spent huge sums of money to influence this month's presidential election.
