Source: Trump is "100% serious" about "taking back" Greenland and the Panama Canal
Online reports that according to the New York Post, sources close to U.S. President-elect Trump revealed that Trump is "100% serious" about "recovering" Greenland and the Panama Canal, adding that he studied Greenland during his first term. Sources said Trump developed a "practical" negotiating plan in the final year of his first term to win the support of the 56000 residents of the semi-autonomous Greenland, most of whom are Inuit, before submitting the local residents 'decision to Copenhagen, Denmark, for approval before "handing over" to Greenland. If successful, Greenland's relationship with the United States will be similar to the relationship between the United States and the Pacific island countries of Palau, the Marshall Islands and Micronesia.
