Tether spent $360,000 on lobbying activities this year, about 71% less than last year.

Internet reports that Tether's market value will increase by nearly US$50 billion in 2024, and its investment, product line and political influence in various industries have also been enhanced. Tether appears to have slowed some lobbying this year, spending only $360,000 on FTI government matters, according to OpenSecrets. A decrease of approximately 71% compared with the $1.24 million in lobbying spending in 2023;$480,000 in 2022. Tether hired DMM Consulting, a lobbying company in 2023 that also lobbied on behalf of El Salvador's Bukele government.
