According to online reports, Brain Armstrong, co-founder and CEO of Coinbase, wrote on the X platform that Canada, Nigeria and Brazil have all recently launched stablecoins on Base, and it is likely that more countries will choose to launch stablecoins on Base. In response, Jesse, head of the Base protocol, responded that its goal is to launch stablecoins for each global currency on Base this year.
