Internet reported that protests were held on April 19 local time in several cities such as New York and Washington. Protest organizers said they protested the Trump administration's violations of civil rights and the Constitution, including deporting large numbers of immigrants, shrinking the size of the federal government by firing numerous government workers and effectively shutting down multiple agencies. In addition, protesters plan to hold events outside Tesla car dealerships to protest the role played by Elon Musk and his Department of Government Efficiency in streamlining federal government agencies.
